Cathy Coleman, Ph.D., NCGR-PAA Level IV
Cathy Coleman has been a practitioner of astrology for over 30 years. She holds a doctoral degree in East-West psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). She has earned NCGR Level III* Certification, and has passed the Level IV Rectification exam. She is an ISAR Certified Astrological Professional; and is a certified Astro*Carto*Grapher. She was in the first graduating class of the Online College of Astrology (now International Astrological College) from which she has a diploma. She was also in the first graduating class of the Online College of Vedic Astrology and has ACVA Level I Certification. From 2001-2003 she was President of Kepler College. She has lectured widely at various Bay area astrological organizations, at national conferences, and in January 2015 she lectured at a Vedic Astrology Conference in India. Tropically, she has Sun in Virgo, Moon in Sagittarius, and Aries rising. Sidereally, she has Sun in Leo, Moon in Sagittarius, and Pisces Rising. She is married to Ralph Metzner and lives in Sonoma, CA.

Steve Pincus
Steve served as NCGR-SF President from 1985 to 2015. He began studying Astrology in 1976 and has maintained an Astrological Consultation Service since 1979. He became a certified Astro*Carto*Grapher in 1985 and received his Professional Astrological Certification from the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) in 2000. His approach to astrology combines contemporary methods with Uranian techniques. He’s lectured on Uranian astrology, cosmobiology, and astronomy for astrologers for local astrology organizations and astrological conferences including UAC, AFA, AFAN, NCGR, ISAR and SWAC. Steve is producer of the Star Dial System, a 90 degree dial designed by Arlene Kramer. He’s owner of Sun Recording Service, a company he began in the late 1970’s, fueled by his love for astrology and desire to preserve the information presented at lectures, workshops and conferences. His recording equipment has evolved over the years from a single Marantz Cassette Recorder to a multi-channel mobile digital studio.

Joseph KaminskiVice President
Joseph Kaminski, NCGR-PAA Level III
Joseph Kaminski became interested in astrology in the late 1960s when he began intuiting various personality characteristics, sensing key planetary emphasis in some individuals, and observed cycles and patterns affecting himself and others. Exploration grew as he studied astrology, attended classes, presentations, and conferences. He is currently certified at NCGR Level III. Developing and writing his own philosophy since his teen years, Joseph is also a Reiki Healer, Commissioned Spiritualist Healer, and a writer/dream journalist. He enjoys strong interests in spirituality, metaphysics, and universal concepts that affect our consciousness as a whole. Joseph has run a small business in San Francisco since 1998. William Stickevers
With a broad scope of political, economic, psychological, spiritual, and metaphysical knowledge, William Stickevers systematically explores possibilities about the future and how they can emerge from the present by weaving current secular trends, geopolitical factors, and mundane astrological portents. A practicing astrologer since 1990, mostly in New York City and now in San Francisco, William is well versed and/or certified in psychological, Horary, Electional, Astro*Carto*Graphy, Medieval, and Renaissance branches of astrology and worked with Alphee Lavoie of Astrological Institute of Research (AIR). William has lectured for the National Center for Geocosmic Research (NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, and San Francisco chapters), American Federation of Astrologers (Los Angeles), the Astrological Society of Connecticut, and in Europe (Munich, Germany and Bucharest, Romania) and Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama).

Katharine Gibson
In high school, Katharine learned about her Sun sign and Moon sign. In college, she learned about her rising sign. It wasn’t until she moved to New York City in 2004 that she learned much more about her natal chart, and thus astrology. Since relocating to San Francisco in 2013, she has become more interested in learning and studying the practical applications of astrology in life and business. A former professional classical flutist and Reiki practitioner, Katharine is delighted to be a part of the NCGR-SF Board and contribute her marketing and social media knowledge.

Mary Gow
Mary’s served on the board since 2013. Her fascination with the mysteries of the Universe were sparked as a teenager when she discovered the library books in a specific category (133.5: philosophy / parapsychology / occultism / astrology). Since then she’s been a student of astrology and uses it as a tool for personal insight and transformation. She’s served on the boards of several non-profit organizations including the American Society of Media Photographers Austin-San Antonio Chapter, the San Francisco Women Artists and the Graphic Arts Workshop Printmakers’ Cooperative in San Francisco. She’s a Communications graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and received her M.A. in Education with an emphasis on Instructional Technology from San Jose State University. Mary’s a published writer, photographer and producer of award-winning inspirational art.

Cary DakinMembership Director
Cary Dakin, Ph.D., M.F.T.
Cary’s interest in astrology began in her early 20’s when she had her first reading from Miriam Wadief. Since then she’s been hooked. Over the years she has taken numerous astrology classes including Linea Van Horn’s beginning, intermediate and advanced courses. Cary has worked as a psychotherapist for twenty years and has both her M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a Ph.D. in Depth Psychotherapy. She is currently researching the horse-human relationship and intuitive experiences in addiction recovery. Over the years she has served as a board member of Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology, the Access Institute, Women’s Trust, and One World Children’s Fund.
