April 22 2023 ADAM SOMMER: The Astrology of Bitcoin

Describing Bitcoin isn’t easy.  If you take the technical route, you will lose everyone.  If you choose the financial one, you will lose most.  But if you travel down the libertarian road populated by cyberpunks trying to solve one of the worlds most serious problems, most people remain interested. 

As astrologers, all three attempts of describing the WHY of Bitcoin can be seen clearly with Pluto in mind.  From Satoshi’s White Paper in 08′ to the first Genesis Block in 09′ straight into the present moment where a global superpower is experiencing a Pluto Return, a potent pattern begins to emerge when you are tracking this Outer Planet closely.

In this talk, Adam will tell the story of Bitcoin through Pluto’s eyes.  He will also share a few non-astrological charts using Gann methods to solidify how this all maps according to Price and Time.

Adam Sommer is one of those accidental Astrologers.  He never set out to be one, in fact, until his early 20’s, he wasn’t even aware it was a career path.  But after a series of fortunate events and a synchronicity storm which exposed his mind wide open to the stars, he found himself starting a podcast in the Spring of 2009 called Exploring Astrology.  His intention was to use the platform (one that most people didn’t even know existed at the time) to talk to the authors of all the books he was reading; he wanted it to be a recorded learning experience that could benefit anyone interested in the subject. 

 

And now, a quick 13 years later, he has recorded hundreds of shows, worked with thousands of clients, and even hosted a handful of retreats as well.  The show is now called Holes to Heavens.

 

When people ask: So what kind of Astrology do you do? His answer is simple: Astrology.  His foundation is traditional (Jyotish and a bit Hellenistic) and he’s deeply influenced by the Jungian and Mythic approach to much of this. The spirit of his relationship to Astrology is awe.  His goal is to always be as close to what he calls ‘kosmognosis,’ hopefully sharing some of this good magic with his listeners, readers, and clients.

 

Most recently, he has been learning much from W. D Gann, applying Gann’s wild methods to Bitcoin and a few other markets as well.
