FIXED STAR DOUBLE HEADER: The Big 7 and 15 Magical Stars of Hermes

Part One:

Fixed Stars & the Ptolemaic Cosmos

The ancient Geocentric conception of the Universe had 7 planetary spheres with the fixed stars residing above these, and thus closer to God (who dwelled in the Highest Heaven). Therefore fixed stars were seen as one indicator of eminence or rise to high position. But from this height, the person could become “star-struck” (αστροβολητος, “astroboletos”) and overpowered by the star, resulting in a downfall.

This is nor that simple with omega-3 unsaturated fats. The most helpful of them – eicosapentaenoic corrosive (EPA) and docosahexaenoic corrosive (DHA) – are found in fish and fish. Thus, pescetarians win here. Ovolactovegetarians get a little measure of these acids from eggs. Veggie lovers need to make due with less helpful alpha-linolenoic corrosive (ALA) in flax seeds, wheat germ, walnut, canola oil, soy and some different nourishments.

We’ll take a look at the “Big 7” stars that you should look for in every chart, and some celebrity examples of these.

Part Two:
Working with the 15 Magical Stars of Hermes

Classical texts tell us that the mythical Hermes Trismegistus is the source for the magical tradition of the “Behenian” stars. Spanning most of the Zodiac signs, each of these stars has an associated glyph or sigil, stone and herb which facilitate the transfer and fixation of its volatile celestial energies into earthly forms. These are typically used to create protective amulets or talismans designed to promote a particular outcome.

Experience has taught Gary that these 15 stars act as a group, and anyone with a natal planetary connection to one of them can possibly learn to use the others. We’ll see examples and stories of successful magic from working with these stars and look ahead for future opportunities.
