Monthly Discussion

In September of 2024 Our Community Discussion returned to monthly, usually the first Friday of each month. Join us at 3:30pm to 5pm, Pacific Time on the dates indicated below. And check back for more updates.

These gatherings are not recorded to honor the confidentiality of contents shared. We do ask that you be kind to one another.

Two Consecutive New Moons in Virgo: August & September 2025 (and Mercury Retrograde)

Every two or three years, there are two New Moons successively in the same sign. Since 1970, in all but one of these occurrences, one of these successive New Moons has also been a Solar Eclipse.

Let’s discuss the importance and relevance of this event in Virgo, its link to the upcoming eclipse season, and the contemporaneous Mercury Retrograde that will still be in its shadow period, post-stationary direct, during the August lunation.

Please note, this is not intended to be an eclipse discussion, but rather an exploration of this pattern and how we may be invited to work with it.

This decade, this event occurs four times:

June 20, 2020: 00°21 Cancer (eclipse)
July 20, 2020: 28°26 Cancer

March 21, 2023: 00°49 Aries
April 19, 2023: 29°50 Aries (eclipse)

August 22, 2025: 00°23 Virgo
September 21, 2025: 29°05 Virgo (eclipse)

June 22, 2028: 1°50 Cancer
July 21, 2028: 29°50 Cancer (eclipse)
