IN-PERSON EVENT!
Join our chapter President, Gemini Brett, for an evening of sacred astronomy at the Berkeley Marina stone circle.
We’ll gather at 8pm shortly before sunset so Brett can teach you how the meridian pole and solstice stones work as solar calendars while it’s still light outside.
A seriously out-of-bounds Capricorn Moon will then rise to help Brett teach about the 18.6 year Lunar Standstill cycle.
We’ll then spend some time with Leo Mars and with ecliptic stars like Regulus, Spica, Zubenelgenubi, and Antares who will help Brett demonstrate how to find the midheaven and ascendant degrees with your naked eye.
It can be windy at the Marina so please dress in layers.
